Metamorphic, a Christian Hip Hop Rapper, was born Fortune Mguni in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, where he was raised by “mum and dad. Metamorphic was raised and went to Senzangakhona Primary, Bulawayo Adventist High School; he then transferred to Gifford Boys High. He was accepted into Grandeur College which is Christian College helps not only in their academic careers but also in their Spiritual growth. He graduated from Grandeur College and subsequently crossed to SA to attend Rau Technology Institute College to study Hotel and Catering Management. He is a proud Christian with a positive message to go along with his rhymes, his lyrics are scripture saturated and ministers to the Christian and serves as a means for evangelism to the non-believer. Metamorphic is no stranger to Hip Hop before he got born again he was a great Hip Hop fan but never had any prospects of being an MC. It was the beginning of 2011 when he discovered that he was born to spit them rhymes, where he discovered his purpose and vision, he had to stand firm and rap for the Lord. Metamorphic is the minister of the word beyond any shadow of doubt, he refused to be called “celebrity” because “this ain’t about me it’s about the purpose and the will of God.” He has solutions every time and his solutions are compatible with the Word of God. Sensitive to people’s challenges as he is he knows that he is not in this world to live up to any ones expectations or demands of this world but to help minister to people and transform this sick world and defeated lives. He not here to judge people or push them down the valley, he is here to speak and breathe life to the dry bones because his rhymes are not self-centred or self-edifiying.
